Richmond, VA – (Friday, March 5, 2010) – Chesterfield United FC (United FC) has agreed to become a PUMA Flagship club in Virginia and partner with PUMA North America under its “Total Club Concept” program. The United FC technical staff and coaches put together a pre-season fitness program to prepare players for the upcoming tournaments, league play and state cup. The sessions began Monday night and will continue Wednesday and Friday nights at Community School fields. Players that attended the first night were treated to a light mist and soggy conditions but worked hard and had a great time working out with their fellow club members and coaches.

The alliance initially focuses on friendly matches, tournament cooperation and Super Y-League but could expand to other areas in the future.

The United FC staff is excited to announce the 2010 Summer Camp Series. Headlining the summer camp offerings is the 2nd Annual "Total Soccer Experience" residential overnight camp to be held at Christchurch School in Saluda, VA July 25-29. In addition to the overnight camp, United FC will be holding specific camps for the recreational players, travel teams, a Coerver camp as well as a weekly "Centre of Excellence" program to address the interest and needs of our membership.
