About United FC
On Wednesday September 7, 2011 Gordon Miller, VYSA’s Technical Director, visited United FC and spoke with our membership.  In his presentation Gordon hit on four few key factors that work together to help develop youth soccer players, and what parents should look for within their youth soccer club.  Those four pillars that should make up a youth soccer club are Technical, Administrative, Political, and Parent Involvement.  The information below and the links on the left provide information about our club structure and how we at Chesterfield United use those four pillars within our club.

History

The Chesterfield United Football Club is a result of 28 years of club development and evolution. The club debuted in 1980 as Dale Youth Soccer and in 1995 became Chesterfield Soccer Club. In 2002 Chesterfield Soccer Club merged with James River United to form Chesterfield United Soccer Club. On May 1st of 2008 Chesterfield United Soccer Club made a subtle name change from “Soccer Club” to “Football Club” and is now known as Chesterfield United Football Club, Chesterfield United FC, CUFC or “United FC”.
